Modeling

Enjoy unlimited "what if" analysis.  Design and model new data centers in minuets, or determine what the affect of consolidating data center will be.  Quickly and simply model power, cooling, and weight, before you deploy your IT solutions.

Use either rack based modeling or circuit based modeling to model the data center power environment. 

Rack Model Mode

Using Rack Model Mode set thresholds on per rack basis and monitors those thresholds as you design your solution and alerts you when you exceed them. Additionally RACKWISE DCM provides reports to let you know where your data center stands in relationship to your define limits.

Circuit Model Mode

Use Circuit Model Mode to model power down to the individual circuit in the data center.  Devices connect to circuits, circuits to PDUs, PDUs to UPSs, and UPSs to power sources.  Publish reports that allow you to answer key questions in your data center:

• Is my PDU balanced on all three legs?
• How much capacity do I have left in my PDU
• Where should I pull the next circuit from?
• How much draw do I have on my circuits?
• What are my circuits connected to?
• What is powering my racks?
